Just a small tour.
And I went on the metro. And I've never been in an underground railway system like that. And! I didn't get lost.
Luxembourg Palace, in the Luxembourg Gardens. They're supposed to be the prettiest and most romantic gardens in Paris... I think that's just not saying much for the gardens in Paris because I don't understand what was so romantic about it. Which is why there are no pictures of the Luxembourg Gardens.
Sorbonne. One of the oldest schools in the world. They don't allow you to tour it anymore though. Lame.
Museum of the Middle Ages, which was open to the public but we did not have time to go in today. It was built during the medieval times and is one of the only buildings that old still standing in Paris... It looks cool, I suppose.
Something something about Saint Michel. Or something. I'm exhausted. But this is where today's tour ended and then half of us went back to our hotel on the metro while the other half of us stayed to party/club.
And in the meantime, while they were partying, my roommate Teresa and I went off in search of food and then it started pouring on us and we were soaked by the time we got back to the hotel for our umbrellas. (Sorry, no drowned rat pictures.) Thunder and lightning in Paris is a whole different thing entirely. I loved it.
But now I'm freezing and tired. So I'm going to bed. I love you all!
